Privacy Policy for Habit Tracker
Privacy Policy for Habit Tracker
Last updated: July 5, 2026
This privacy policy explains how the Habit Tracker Android application
("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use it. The App is
built to be simple and private: your habit data stays on your device.
1. Information We Collect
The App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
Specifically:
- The App does not require you to create an account or sign in.
- The App does not connect to the internet to send your data anywhere.
- The App does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- The App does not request access to your contacts, location, camera,
microphone, or any other sensitive device permissions.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
The App stores the following data locally on your device only, using a
local database (Room/SQLite). This data never leaves your device and is
not accessible to us or to any third party:
- The names of habits you create
- The category and color you assign to each habit
- The dates on which you mark a habit as completed
This data is used solely to display your habit list, streaks, and weekly
statistics within the App. Uninstalling the App, or clearing its data
through your device's Settings, permanently deletes this information.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any data with third parties, because
we do not collect any data from you in the first place.
4. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including
children under 13. Since no data is collected or transmitted, the App does
not pose the risks that data-collecting apps do for younger users.
5. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in the future (for example, if a new feature adds
cloud sync), this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above
will be revised. Continued use of the App after changes are posted
constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
